Now the ski area of the complex has reached 105 kilometers, it is the largest in Russia. The blue track for riders of an average level of training was called "Calendula", and the red one, for experienced skiers and snowboarders - "Blueberry".
“The resort's new slopes and ski lifts are often given the names of plants growing on the territory of the Rosa Khutor resort. This, among other things, symbolizes a careful attitude to the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region, adherence to the principles of sustainable development adopted by Rosa Khutor in 2018,” the resort’s press service noted.
The total length of the new routes is three kilometers. In addition, on the Southern slope, at an altitude of 1950 meters above sea level, a new belt lift with the Pegasus gallery began to operate.
“Today, our resort has pistes of all difficulty levels - the easiest green, blue and red ones for those who ski confidently, black ones for professionals. There are 52 of them in total, all of them are certified by special organizations. There are also two snow parks. One - at an altitude of 1550 meters above sea level, which is designed for both beginners and experienced riders, is a professional Steshpark, where the figures are made in the ground using trees and natural landscape. We are very closely following the wishes of the guests and every year we improve the infrastructure,” said Sergey Chernov, Deputy General Director of the Rosa Khutor Resort.
In anticipation of the current winter season, the Yavor track was also expanded from the upper station of the Tundra lift to the lower station of the Crocus cable car, the Horizon track at 1650 meters above sea level, the Triton track above 1900 meters above sea level. In the area of the transfer of cable cars "Wolf Rock", "Reserved Forest" and "Caucasian Express", a spacious open area was formed due to the dismantling of the tunnel. Thus, the transport connection between the three cable cars is now more comfortable.
