A grand journey for Father Frost aboard his magical train will begin this year on November 19th at the Taishet station, lasting for 54 days. During this time, the train will cover nearly 30,000 kilometers. This was announced in the Telegram channel of the Russian Railways company.
"Railroad workers have prepared a special train for Father Frost. It's a festively decorated mobile residence with a steam locomotive at the head and includes a reception room, a fairytale village for games and quests, a puppet theater, a souvenir shop, a restaurant, and a buffet for tea, etc.," the company noted.
The train will travel along the entire Baikal-Amur Mainline and, weather permitting, will take a ferry directly to Sakhalin Island. Further, it will visit cities in the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, and the European part of the country.
"During stops, visitors to the stations will be treated to an entertaining holiday program with the participation of artists and animators. And for those who have tickets for the wizard's train, a separate program is planned, including a meeting with Father Frost on the train, a quest, and a tea party or puppet show," the message says.
