Governments and corporations are looking for ways to reduce food-grade plastic pollution
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development has reported that Iran is one of Russia's most promising tourism partners. Mutual tourist flows increased by 52% last year and exceeded pre-pandemic levels. In the first six months of this year, this figure grew by 28%. Approximately 18,000 Iranian tourists visited Russia during this period.
Direct air communication contributes to the growth of mutual tourist trips. In the first half of 2024, the number of flights between Russia and Iran more than doubled. In addition, the geography of flights has expanded: new routes have been opened - "St. Petersburg-Tehran," "Sochi-Tehran," and "Grozny-Tehran."
Group visa-free trips between the two countries also contribute to the tourist flow. Since the beginning of this year, Russian and Iranian companies have begun to implement tour products for such trips. Demand for them among residents of both countries is constantly growing.
Moreover, since August last year, Iranian tourists have been able to obtain an electronic visa for travel to Russia. Since the beginning of 2024, more than 12,500 Iranian tourists have taken advantage of this opportunity.
