Manifestations and strikes in France hit the tourism sector.
Due to public unrest, many tourist places, such as museums and concert halls, are being closed, which leads to discontent among tourists.
However, according to official figures, the capital of France, Paris, is still one of the most visited cities in Europe.
The tourism sector contributed 77.7 billion euros to the GDP of the French Republic, with 30% from international tourists.
