Waterfall Park "Mendelikha" is one of the most popular routes of the resort. Located on the southern slope of the Aibga ridge, in the bed of the river of the same name, it has seven waterfalls, including the highest in the vicinity of Sochi - "Golden" (77 meters). The park starts from the lower station of the Edelweiss cable car (1470 meters above sea level), special trails are laid in it, including to the foot of the waterfalls, observation platforms, locations for photos, and recreation areas for guests are equipped.
From May 15, tourists will be able to walk along the Small and partially along the Middle Ring of waterfalls, a little later, depending on weather conditions, the Middle and Large Ring of the park will fully open. The length of the route to see all the waterfalls is four kilometers and takes about 4.5 hours. "Mendelikha" is open daily (depending on the weather) from 10:00, the last exit to the route is at 16:20.
From May 15, the following hiking trails have also been opened on "Rosa Khutor": "Lake Traverse" (from the Mountain Olympic Village to the lower station "Volчья skala"), "Yeti Trail" (from Yeti Park to GOD), "Trail B-One" (from " Besedki" to GOD). In total, 29 hiking trails will operate this summer season, the novelty will be the route "The Way to the Alpacas" from the Mountain Olympic Village to the Alpaca Park "Pacha Mama" with a length of about a kilometer. All trails will be launched gradually, and it is expected that in June they will be fully open for walks. The Nahazo campsite located in the mountains, and radial routes around it, are tentatively scheduled to start operating from July 1.
This year, guests of "Rosa Khutor" will be able to purchase a walking ticket for the first time with included guide services, who will tell tourists about the sights of the resort located at each station of its cable cars. In addition to hiking trails, there are also several cycling routes. In May, cyclists are already planning to offer a favorable combined tariff "Bicycle Pass + electric bicycle rental".
