From September 7th to 29th, the Portuguese capital will be transformed into a hub of entertainment with a month-long festival. Residents and visitors alike can look forward to a packed calendar of free events, including 9 concerts, 3 film festivals, and a grand parade dedicated to the Iberian mask. These festivities will take place in various locations across the city, such as parks, stages, cinemas, and central squares.

The inaugural day will feature a classical music concert, showcasing arias from operas by Bizet, Verdi, and Puccini, performed by the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra.

The festival will also celebrate Portuguese music and offer special evenings dedicated to jazz, with Street Party events held on Thursdays and Sundays in the narrow streets of old Lisbon. A Piano City festival will also be held, spotlighting the piano.

The grand finale of the festivities will be a magnificent Iberian mask parade, bringing together around 500 participants from various regions of Portugal and Spain. This colorful procession will wind its way through the heart of Lisbon during the last weekend of September.
