A year ago, residents of the village of Khamyshki found a baby bison in the Belaya River. Presumably it was carried away by a strong current. The bison, just a couple of weeks old, was practically on the verge of life and death, greatly weakened. At the moment, the bison is full of strength: throughout the whole time he was looked after by a veterinarian of the Caucasian Reserve. The kid grew up to be a tame animal, which is used to human care, so it was decided to settle him in the Guziripl aviary complex.

«The culf has passed the period of adaptation and calmly lets fur breeders approach him, like a pet allows himself to be stroked. It remains to fulfill one formality - to give the pet a name. Among the options for the name: Caucasus, Bodo, Ermysh, Naidenysh, or perhaps offer your own idea,» says the Caucasian Reserve.

The Caucasian Reserve invites you to vote for your favorite name for the bison, or send your proposal. Messages to the official accounts of the Caucasian Reserve on Instagram, Telegram, VK are accepted until March 17, 2022. The voting results and the name of the bison will be announced on March 20.
