The tourist flow in Kislovodsk in collective accommodation facilities, with an average length of stay, increased by 70% in the first half of this year compared to the same period in 2019, totaling 228,000 people. This information was reported by the city administration on its website.

"The average length of stay in sanatoriums was 11 days, and in hotels, it was 5 days. Last year, during the first six months, 209,000 guests rested in Kislovodsk's health resorts, which is 10% less than this year's figures. Currently, the booking depth in the city's sanatoriums and hotels reaches up to 7 months," the statement said.

In total, according to mobile operator data, Kislovodsk welcomed about 900,000 visitors from January to June 2024, the administration noted.

"The number of tourists staying in collective accommodation with an average length of stay was around 228,000 people, and the remainder consisted of visitors staying in private sectors and day-trippers. This significant growth is an important indicator for the city, as the increase in holidaymakers boosts the local economy and creates new earning opportunities for residents. This is essential for our goal of developing the city as a leading tourist destination in southern Russia," the statement added.
