The tourist flow to the resorts of Kuban has grown by 8.3% since the beginning of the year

The deputy head of the region, Alexander Ruppel, noted that the winter season passed in the normal mode without interruptions in the operation of the tourist infrastructure.

«Already in the first months we see an increase in the tourist flow compared to previous years. Since the beginning of the year, 886.5 thousand tourists have visited the Krasnodar Territory, which is 8.3% more than the same period in 2021 and 19% more than the same period in 2020,» said Alexander Ruppel, Vice Governor of Kuban.

Sochi, Anapa, Apsheronsky and Mostovsky districts, as well as Gelendzhik became the most popular territories among tourists. Today, there are 2,065 accommodation facilities operating in the region with a capacity of about 217,000 beds.
