Mass flowering of a rare plant was found on the slope of the Aibga ridge near the lower station of the Edelweiss cable car. Lilia Kesselringa, named after the botanist Friedrich Wilhelm Kesselring, is listed in the Red Book and in Russia it is found only in the Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory and Kabardino-Balkaria. This is a perennial herb 60-100 centimeters high with alternate leaves, pyramidal loose inflorescences and yellow-straw flowers. Inhabits glades, meadows in the forest belt and subalpine high-mountain meadows. It is distinguished by a strong pleasant aroma.

At a height of 1800 meters one can observe crooked forests, subalpine meadows and dense forests consisting of such accompanying species as Sorbus caucasica or high mountain maple (Trautvetterimedv). At an altitude of 1800-2000 meters a subalpine landscape begins with shrubs and tall grass meadows, and above 2000 - an alpine landscape with low-grass meadows, lichen wastelands, shrubs.
