The Taganay National Park reported the opening of a new route - the "On the Edge of the Forest" eco trail. It passes through a meadow, a coniferous forest and a swamp, being the shortest route in the national park, with a length of only 800 meters.
The trail is primarily intended for families with children. Information stands and signs along the way will tell you about the local landscapes, the birds that winter in these forests, and how you can help them survive the harsh times.
Tourists will be able to:
"Measure themselves in birds."
"Compete" with the forest dwellers in the length of their jump.
Relax in a hammock to the sounds of the forest.
The eco trail is equipped with rest areas and a gazebo.
An eco-center is located near the entrance to the trail, where tourists can consolidate the knowledge they gained on the route.
Taganay National Park is located in the Chelyabinsk Region, near the city of Zlatoust. The park's area is 568 sq. km. It includes the Taganay mountain range. Valuable ecological systems have been preserved on the park's territory: mountain tundras and meadows, subalpine woodlands and relic forests. Here you can meet animals and plants characteristic of different regions of Russia, as well as Kazakhstan.
