This was stated by the head of the city Alexei Kopaigorodsky.

«By the end of the year, we intend to receive about 7 million tourists. In general, the epidemiological situation in Sochi is stable and under control. Already 200 thousand residents have been vaccinated in the city. Tourists have also taken an active part in the summer holiday season. There are 29 vaccination points in Sochi that operate in all districts,» said Aleksey Kopaygorodsky.

At the same time, within the framework of the current coronavirus restrictions, the Sochi authorities are tightening the rules for staying at the resort. Accommodation in hotels is possible only with a certificate of vaccination, a certificate of medical withdrawal, vaccination with one of the components of the vaccine, PCR test or voluntary consent to be vaccinated against COVID-19 within three days.

Requirements for restaurants and cafes and other public catering facilities are becoming more stringent. All of them will receive guests in the presence of a QR code for vaccination, or a QR code for a past illness, stressed Alexey Kopaygorodsky.
