Avtodor plans to complete the preparation of the North-South transport axis by 2024. Thanks to her, it will be possible to get from the city on the Neva to the resorts of the Kuban and Crimea through Moscow and Krasnodar.
«The route from St. Petersburg to the Black Sea will bypass Krasnodar. It will relieve congestion, reduce accidents and make travel to the coast for residents and tourists as comfortable as possible. I am sure it will become a new stage in the development of resorts in the Krasnodar Territory and auto tourism in Russia,» said the Head of the Kuban, Veniamin Kondratyev.
The Governor noted that the construction of the A-289 Krasnodar - Slavyansk-on-Kuban - Temryuk highway is being continued to ensure transport links between the peninsula and the mainland of Russia. The 51-kilometer section is being built as part of the Safe High-Quality Roads national project. The route will be routed bypassing settlements. 10 multi-level interchanges and 15 overpasses, more than 30 bridges and over 160 small artificial structures will be built on it. For the comfort of motorists, 11 recreation areas will be provided.
