Tourist trains will run on new routes in the next year and a half
The city has taken the lead in the ranking of the most popular destinations for solo travel during the velvet season. An unusual study was conducted by the online hotel booking service Tvil.ru. The resort accounts for 30% of all room bookings in hotels.
"The average length of stay for solo travelers in Sochi is eight nights. Accommodation in hotels in the city will cost them an average of 3,400 rubles per night," experts report.
Anapa, Saint Petersburg, and Moscow also made it into the list of the most popular destinations for solo travel in September. At the same time, accommodation in hotels in the capital is 21% more expensive than in Sochi.
