Sochi sanatoriums will open from June 1

According to the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Russia, Veniamin Kondratiev, enterprises will be able to start work in accordance with the regulations approved by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare. However, the beaches and public places of the city will be closed. Tourists will be able to stay only in the sanatoriums. Shuttles will be arranged to move visitors from stations and airports. The head of the Kuban noted that the resort fee was cancelled for all the guests arriving before January 1, 2021.

The head of the city of Sochi, Aleksey Kopaygorodsky, said that today 65 sanatoriums can accommodate about 40,000 tourists in Sochi. In the near future, they will be checked together with representatives of Rospotrebnadzor.

The lockdown in Sochi will be lifted on May 23, the activities of car dealerships, building materials and non-food stores with an area of ​​up to 400 square meters, as well as consumer services organizations will resume their work. The municipal public transport will also get back to work.
