The head of the region noted that over the past two weeks there has been an increase in the incidence of coronavirus infection; for the first time since the end of March, more than 120 cases a day have been detected in the Kuban.

"The most effective way to cope with the threat is to form collective immunity. We have increased the rate of vaccination of the inhabitants of the region, but with the beginning of the holiday season we record more and more imported cases. Therefore, from July 1, hotels, boarding houses and sanatoriums of the region will accept vacationers only with negative PCR- a test made no later than 72 hours in advance or a vaccination certificate,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.

From August 1, only vaccinated tourists will be able to stay in accommodation facilities. An exception is vacationers with contraindications for vaccination. At the same time, they will need to have on hand a document on a medical withdrawal and a negative PCR test. Children will not need a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus; the new requirements do not apply to children's camps and medical facilities.

There are now about two hundred thousand tourists on the territory of Sochi, hotels and resorts of the resort are 88 percent full, some large accommodation facilities are 100 percent full. By all means of transport - air, rail and cars - about fifty thousand people come to Sochi per day.

More than 2,000 people are vaccinated at the resort every day.
