In 2024, protective devices were installed on 134 high-voltage power line supports.

"Installation locations for the protective devices were chosen based on recommendations from ornithologists and ecologists. Equipping energy facilities with special equipment is necessary to prevent bird fatalities caused by electric shock," noted the Sochi branch of "Rosseti Kuban."

The devices hinder landing and nesting on power lines. Additionally, they help reduce the risk of emergencies. In 2023, 720 bird protection devices were already installed in Sochi.
