Moscow to Host International Business Tourism Conference

The official website of the Mayor of Moscow has announced that a major international event, the Meet Global MICE Congress: BRICS Edition, will be held in the capital on December 16 and 17. The conference will be dedicated to business tourism.

Participants will include hoteliers, event organizers, and specialists from relevant government agencies and associations. Experts from nine BRICS countries, including China, India, Brazil, and Ethiopia, will arrive in Moscow. They will discuss the prospects for the development of the industry, share experiences in training personnel, and tools for increasing business tourism flows.

The conference will include discussions, sessions, and trainings for industry professionals. As part of the congress, business negotiations will also be organized, where domestic and foreign companies will be able to present their products and find potential partners. A plenary session is also planned, the main topic of which will be strengthening partnerships and finding modern forms of cooperation between the BRICS countries.

Conference participants will also discuss useful digital services and the application of artificial intelligence in the industry. They will also discuss personnel issues. Experts will talk about the skills and competencies that a specialist in the MICE industry should have, the current state of the labor market, and how it will change with the development of innovations.
