The consequences of bad weather in Sochi were completely eliminated by the morning of July 8. This was announced by the head of the city of Sochi Alexey Kopaygorodsky.

"Rospotrebnadzor conducted additional research at the water intakes. Experts also took samples at 73 beaches in Sochi. All indicators are normal," the mayor of the resort explained.

The amount of damage caused by bad weather in Sochi amounted to about 18 million rubles. Adler and Kudepsta were affected the most.

"The monitoring groups visited 90 flooded households in which 335 people live. All of them were recognized as victims and partially lost their property," the mayor of Sochi said.

Families will receive compensation at the rate of 10 thousand rubles for each person registered in the house. In addition, for partial loss of property, an additional 50 thousand rubles. In case of complete loss of property - 100 thousand rubles for each family member. The money will be paid from the budget of the Krasnodar Territory, payments will begin next week.

"People who live in houses damaged by water, but do not have permanent registration in them, as well as residents who have lost their registration documents, we will compensate for losses from other sources," said the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaigorodsky.

In the city, work has been intensified to clean the storm sewer networks, all the bridge spaces in the river beds are being examined in order to avoid flooding when the weather worsens. A large-scale subbotnik is scheduled for July 10 in Sochi.
