The tourist service Russpass has developed five routes for the new festival "Theatrical Boulevard," which has started in Moscow. The festival will take place at seven venues along the Boulevard Ring in an open-air format until August 11, as reported by the Moscow Department of Tourism on its website.

For example, the route "I Can't Believe It!: An Introduction to the History of Russian Theater" is dedicated to the founders of domestic acting who are famous worldwide.

On the route "From Empire to Eclecticism: The Architectural Alphabet of Moscow's Theaters," walking enthusiasts will learn about the diverse architectural styles of the capital. Families who choose the route "Puppet Shows, Four-Legged Performers, and LEGO Exhibits" can look forward to performances featuring animals or puppets, as well as a visit to a LEGO museum.

Another family-friendly route prepared for the festival is "Theaters, Parks, and Playgrounds." It takes guests through the green spaces of Moscow, allowing them to attend a performance and then relax in nature.

The walk "Bread and Circuses: A Theatrical Gastro Tour" includes restaurants and bars located within the city's theaters.

Additionally, Russpass has gathered routes and excursions dedicated to the theatrical capital as a whole on one page of its service.

"The routes are suitable for both independent strolls and group excursions. Anyone interested can learn about the history of Russian theater, the variety of stage genres, and the architecture of Moscow. The walks will appeal to those who want to unravel the secrets of acting skills, recall famous works of dramatic art, or share them with their children," the department noted.

More information about the routes can be found on the service's website.
