The event will take place on the federal territory of Sirius near Sochi from 17 to 19 February.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is supposed to participate in the forum, says the website of the Cabinet.

The main theme of this year's exposition will be national priorities. The business program of the forum will be devoted to the implementation of national projects, building up economic potential and demonstrating the investment opportunities of Russian regions to ensure the well-being and improve the quality of life of people.

“Our common task is to work out, within the framework of the forum, the most effective solutions to support the development of regions and find tools to ensure the growth of the level and quality of life of citizens throughout Russia,” said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and curator of the federal territory Sirius.

Representatives of all 85 constituent entities of the country will work at the forum. Now 56 regions have confirmed their participation in the event. Several dozen applications were also received from leading Russian companies and corporations. All projects are aimed at increasing investment attractiveness, creating new jobs and increasing incomes of the population.

The Russian Investment Forum is one of the largest business events in the country. It is visited annually by about eight thousand people. In 2019, agreements worth about a trillion rubles were signed on the sidelines of the forum. In 2020 and 2021, the event was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
