Rosa Khutor will celebrate World Tourism Day on September 27th with a full day of activities.
The festivities begin at 11:00 AM on the Town Hall Square with a unique photo zone. Visitors will receive a symbolic tourist passport, which they can get stamped at various activities to earn a prize. A fun quest involving a giant board game will take participants on a journey around the resort.
The Children's Mountain Academy will host adventure sessions at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM, teaching kids valuable survival skills like setting up tents, starting fires without matches, and identifying edible plants. A drawing workshop will also be available.
The evening program starts at 4:00 PM at the Sport-Marathon Mountain Club. Lectures, workshops, and film screenings will cover topics like packing for hikes, light-style bicycle touring, and the legendary Soviet tourist figure Yuriy Efremov.
