The Primorsky Musson Festival will kick off in Vladivostok on September 27, coinciding with International Tourism Day. Organizers promise a two-day event on Cesarevich Embankment that will transport visitors to the heart of Asia, allowing them to immerse themselves in Vladivostok's history and experience its vibrant contemporary culture.
As reported by the Primorsky Krai tourism portal, Visit-Primorye.ru, a bustling Asian quarter will be set up in the city center, featuring creative workshops, traditional Asian games, tea ceremonies, and fortune-telling.
"Visitors to the Asian quarter will find themselves surrounded by red lanterns, embroidered silk robes, the delicate clatter of hashi chopsticks, the strategy of Go, and the profiles of dragons," the portal notes.
Martial arts demonstrations will showcase the strength and agility of Eastern martial artists, while chefs will teach eager participants how to cook Far Eastern dishes and the famous kimchi.
Music lovers can enjoy a diverse concert program. A "Generations Disco" will feature hits from the 1980s and beyond,and singer MaxSIm will headline the festival.
The event will also include guided tours, contests, prize draws, and flash mobs. A food court will offer refreshments and snacks.
