The state of Hawaii has launched a special program for teleworkers who want to live on the islands for at least a month, according to rubic.us.
The Movers and Shakas program will help workers from other US states travel to Hawaii for at least 30 days free of charge. The move is aimed at restoring the state's economy, which has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this case, program participants will have to have work that they can do remotely.
Within the framework of the "Movers and Shakas" program, everyone will be paid a ticket to the island of Oahu.
The first 50 participants from the trial group will go to the island. If successful, the program will continue on a regular basis.
The minimum age for participants is 18 years. Applications can be submitted until December 15.
