Tourist trains will run on new routes in the next year and a half
The oldest city in Croatia, Dubrovnik, was again named the busiest tourist city in Europe this year.
According to a study conducted by Holidu, one of the fastest growing travel companies in the world, Dubrovnik has 27.42 tourists per capita (36 in 2023).
Today the most expensive resort in Croatia on the Adriatic coast has only 1,200 local residents compared to 5,000 in the early 1990s of the last century.
