Denmark plans to reopen its borders with Germany, Norway and Sweden, which were temporarily closed to prevent the spread of a coronavirus infection, local media reported.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen suggested that tourists from these three countries who have booked hotels or rented houses in the Kingdom for summer holidays will be allowed to enter again.
The government is expected to decide to lift entry restrictions on June 1.
More than 11,000 cases of COVID-19 were reported in the territory and about 550 people died.
