In the "Souvenir Idea" nomination of the Ural stage of the All-Russian "Tourist Souvenir" competition held in Kurgan, the highest expert rating was awarded to "A Drop of the Ancient Tyumen Sea".

The souvenir was created using water from a mineral spring, shark teeth, and bony fish vertebrae. The creators were inspired by the ancient West Siberian Sea, which 70 million years ago occupied the entire territory of the region and led to the appearance of unusual natural artifacts and remains of deep-sea inhabitants in these places. Now tourists can take home a piece of the region's natural heritage.

Among the winners of the competition are also souvenirs reminiscent of the Ural's oil wealth. The first place in the nomination "Line of regional tourist souvenirs" was taken by a series of leather magnets with drops of "black gold".

The Ural regional stage of the competition featured 170 products from authors and manufacturers of tourist products from 6 regions of the Ural Federal District. The winners of the regional stage will take part in the final of the All-Russian "Tourist Souvenir - 2024" competition, which will be held in December this year in Perm.
