The official website of the Mayor of Moscow announced that on July 26, a grand water festival will be held at the Peter the Great Moscow City Children's Marine Center in honor of Navy Day. Visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at yacht management or craft a model ship.

The festivities will kick off with a ceremonial opening and a parade of small boats. This will be followed by competitions in Yal-6 boats, featuring teams of children aged 13-18 who participate in water sports.

Additionally, guests can visit an exhibition of diving equipment, learn about the history of shipbuilding, create a ship model, and watch a demonstration performance by radio yachters from the Moscow Sailing Federation.

Visitors will be offered lessons in tying maritime knots and managing a first-class yacht. Furthermore, schoolchildren and their parents will be introduced to flag semaphore signals and Morse code.

Guests of the festival will also have the chance to play laser tag, checkers, and naval battles, navigate a rope course in professional gear, and create themed paintings under the guidance of instructors.
