The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia has launched an international youth internship program focused on "Ecology and Tourism". It involves 95 participants aged 25 to 35 from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, South Ossetia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mongolia, and Serbia.

According to a statement from the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Roszapovedcenter," the participants are divided into three groups. The first group is attending the international cultural and sports rafting forum "White Water of Siberia 2024" (from July 22 to August 2) in the Altai Republic. The second group is participating in a blog tour titled "Family Tourism in the Udmurt Republic" from July 22 to July 27. The third group will engage in an international internship focused on "Building Public Support for Protected Natural Areas in Perm Krai" during the same dates—they will visit regional and local protected natural areas and participate in a round table with experts from the conservation system.

This internship is part of the "New Generation" program aimed at developing and strengthening social, business, and scientific ties between Russia and other countries.
