A new all-season mountain resort "Valley Vasta" will be created in Sochi. The project will be implemented during 2021-2025 with the joint participation of the state development corporation VEB.RF, the Interros group and the Vasta Discovery company. The companies have already signed a cooperation agreement, and it is planned to invest 80 billion rubles in the project, as per Interfax-Tourism.

Mountain resort "Valley Vasta" will be created in the territory of the Sochi National Park. The project involves the creation of infrastructure for year-round recreation, including a sanatorium, guest houses and spa hotels. In addition, it is planned to build 80 km of ski slopes and lifts with a total length of 13 km.

The new resort will reportedly be able to provide jobs for over 2,500 people.

According to preliminary estimates, the annual tourist flow will amount to 1.5 million.

According to the General Director of Vasta Discovery, Sergey Bachin, the creator of the Rosa Khutor resorts in Sochi, the Vasta Valley resort will become a logical post-Olympic development of Rosa Khutor and will harmoniously complement the infrastructure of the Sochi mountain cluster.

“This will significantly expand the tourism opportunities of the Krasnodar Territory as a whole, as the most attractive destination for recreation in our country. I would like to emphasize that the construction of the new resort will lie within the corporate "Green Code", developed in accordance with Russian and international standards. The respect for the unique nature of the region has been and remains our priority,” he was quoted as saying.
