The first winery opened at the Rosa Khutor resort in the Kuban pavilion of the My Russia ethno-complex. A branch of the famous Semigorye farmstead now operates here.
The winery has 24 oak barrels. In them, the wine is aged for up to one and a half years. It is in them that the microoxidation processes take place, due to which the wine reaches full, creamy maturity, - says Gennady Oparin.
Various grape varieties are used for the production of wine, including classic cabernet, sauvignon blanc, merlot. There is also a unique Krasnodar autochthon - Krasnostop, the first mention of this variety dates back to 1800. All grapes are grown on 50 hectares of land near Anapa.
Interesting interactive excursions are held in the Kuban pavilion of the My Russia ethnopark, during which experienced winemakers not only talk about the secrets of wine production, but also show the whole process: crushing grapes, placing them in a vat, filtering, opening barrels, bottling. You can take part in unusual master classes from July to November inclusive. In the mountain winery, it is planned to conduct tastings, a competition for the best winter drink - mulled wine. The Kuban pavilion of the My Russia complex at Rosa Khutor is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
