During the winter season, the airline does not plan to carry out half of the previously announced flight program. In winter, the carrier was to operate direct flights on 22 routes to Sochi, Simferopol and Krasnodar from 13 cities in Russia - Arkhangelsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Kazan, Murmansk, Novy Urengoy, Perm, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen, Ufa, Orenburg, Syktyvkar and Surgut.

After the New Year holidays, Aeroflot completely canceled flights on all 10 routes from Simferopol and Krasnodar. Flights will not be operated until the end of March. The airline was the only company to operate the flights to Krasnodar from Tyumen, Novy Urengoy and Surgut in the winter season. Now there are no direct flights to these destinations after the New Year holidays on sale.

"The number of passengers on interregional flights has dropped to 30-40%, they have no passenger traffic in winter, and the flights already announced for the low season have to be cut due to their high unprofitableness," the airline said. The airline has almost never had such a number of canceled flights.
