«More than half of the number of rooms in the mountain cluster has already been booked. During the holidays, we plan to receive about 250 thousand guests. At the same time, it is important to ensure a high level of service and maintain control over the epidemiological situation,» said Alexey Kopaigorodsky.

The head of Sochi also said that he instructed the regional Rospotrebnadzor to provide a set of additional measures to protect the health of vacationers. In particular, regular processing of cable car cabins will be ensured without interrupting their operation, a queuing mechanism will be formed taking into account social distance, as well as contactless sale of ski passes. The interdepartmental operational headquarters in the region will work around the clock.
