The press service of the Magadan Region government reported that the construction of the Marine Tourist Center will begin in August of this year. It will be built opposite an abandoned building on Portovoye Shosse. At the moment, you can only see fishermen and garbage here.

Site preparation is currently underway. It is planned to build two small boat docks and improve two embankments on the territory. The new space will be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure.

The length of the piers will be 133.4 and 194 meters. The large pier will be able to accommodate cruise ships. A special parking lot will be equipped for them.

“One of such ships, by the way, is currently being built in Kerch, it will be called“ Petropavlovsk ”. This is a ferry, and it will connect the Magadan Region with Primorye, Sakhalin and Kamchatka,” the message says.
