Zimbabwe will convene the Sanganai/Hlanganani-World Tourism Expo 2024 from 12 to 14 September in Bulawayo, the country’s second capital city.

Participants at the annual event will showcase their tourism products and services.

They will also meet and network with buyers, investors and suppliers of services to the tourism sector from all over the world.

At least 400 exhibitors are expected to attend the expo compared to 375 in 2023.

Deputy tourism minister Tongai Mnangagwa was quoted by The Chronicle as saying 40 regional and international companies are set to grace the expo from last year’s 34.

“To date, a notable number of international buyers and media have registered to attend the expo,” he said.

“We have international buyer registrations from Europe with the bulk coming from Germany and the United Kingdom, South Africa, China, India, and the United States of America have also responded positively.”
