This was reported by the press service of the Federal State Institution "Black Sea Roads."

  • Traffic on the A-147 Dzhubga-Sochi highway in September decreased compared to August, showing a reduction of 8% to 26%, but still remains above the norm, the agency explained.

It was noted that the intra-city traffic is primarily generated by local vehicles rather than visitors from other regions. In August 2024, the maximum number of vehicles recorded at the "Magi" checkpoint was 24,626, while the road in the village of Dagomys saw 50,490 vehicles. In September, these numbers were 18,622 and 46,443, respectively.

  • It is clear that even by the end of September, vehicle traffic closer to the administrative center of Sochi is significantly above the norm, which should be 17,000 vehicles per day for this road, the Federal State Institution "Black Sea Roads" noted.
