A tourist route with this name may receive national status in the coming months. It is currently undergoing peer review.
The press service of the Federal Tourism Agency reported that after the approval of the route, tourists from all over Russia will be able to get acquainted with the cultural, natural and gastronomic diversity of Russia's largest eastern metropolis.
The tour "On the edge of the earth" will be available to a wide target audience from May to October. It is planned that it will suit both young and active travelers, as well as families with children from 14 years old or single tourists under 65 years old.
The route consists of a compulsory program and places that can be visited optionally. The journey will take 7 days. At the same time, the creators of the tour recommend staying in Primorye longer to visit places that were not included in the main program.
As part of the tour, it will be possible to get acquainted with Vladivostok and learn the history of the development of the eastern coast of Russia. Tourists will be offered a boat trip along the Sea of Japan, a visit to the Ussuri taiga in the National Park "Land of the Leopard", as well as a meeting with residents of the seaside safari park and the Aquarium.
In addition, the route includes the best restaurants in Vladivostok, which offer tourists seafood and taiga, as well as elements of Asian cuisine.
Before receiving the status of "national", each proposed route undergoes an expert assessment of the Federal Tourism Agency. To date, 31 national tourist routes have already passed such an assessment, 26 of which have already been digitized on the Russia.Travel website.
The Expert Council evaluates standards on a wide range of criteria, including the classification of accommodation facilities, the availability of navigation, transport safety, sanitary stops and much more. After confirming the route in the status of "National Tourist Route", regional tour operators, as well as large federal tourist networks, will start selling and promoting.
