The Italian travel and tourism association Federtismo expects at least a 30% increase in tourism in the period from the end of June to the end of September compared to the same period in 2020.

According to the results of last year, the influx of tourists to Italy decreased by 60% - 70 million fewer foreign tourists visited the country than in 2019.

According to flight booking data, more travelers will arrive in Italy for a vacation in July-August than in France, in particular, from France itself, as well as Germany, the Netherlands and Spain.

According to the international consulting company Deloitte, 39 million travelers will visit Italy this year, which is 53% lower than in 2019.
