Projects for the development of rural tourism in the Yaroslavl region have passed a competitive selection in the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. They will receive Agrotourism grants in 2024. This was announced by the Ministry of Tourism of the region on its website.

"Agrotourism contributes to the development of rural areas, the emergence of new jobs, as well as the growth of the investment attractiveness of the region. In addition, by attracting tourists, the farmer increases the production and sale of his products," Dmitry Fomin, Minister of Agriculture and Consumer Market of the Yaroslavl region, is quoted in the message.

Grants were won by three regional projects. Thus, LLC "El Rancho" from Pereslavl-Zalessky will receive support in the amount of 8 million rubles for the creation of a tourist complex "Hacienda on the Nerl "El Rancho". It is planned to build guest houses with a view of the garden with fruit trees. Guests of the complex will be able to visit the Romanov sheep breeding farm, get acquainted with sheep breeding, see the full cycle of animal care, take part in wool felting workshops. The total cost of the project is 12.1 million rubles, the report says.
