The festival "Turgenevskiy Berezhok" will be held on September 18. During this event, residents and guests of Orel will be able to get to know Russian culture better.
The city administration said that throughout the day, visitors will be treated to fish soup according to an old recipe, kulyabyaka, mushroom snacks and modern dishes.
The festival program also includes a master class on painting gingerbread, an exhibition of dog breeds from the works of I.S. Turgenev, "Cheese Quest", literary quizzes, games of the Turgenev times and the performance of creative teams.
