The Orenburgsky Reserve announced on its website the start of the tourist season from April 29.

In this regard, guests are invited to visit a number of eco-trails in the natural area.

One of the routes is called "Breath of the Steppe", it leads visitors to the Przewalski's Horse Reintroduction Center, where you can look at animals from a close distance (10-15 meters), take videos and photos.

Visitors to the Path to the Heron eco-trail can listen to spring birdsong, breathe fresh air and admire the landscape of endless steppes.

“It is on this trail that tulips and irises bloom, but this year spring is early, and we assume that the primroses will fade before the start of the tourist season. We will have more specific information about the timing of flowering no earlier than April 10,” the reserve noted.

On the excursion along the route “Where the beaver lives”, guests will learn about the lifestyle of the river beaver, see traces of its activity, walk along the stream to the source of the spring, climb to the observation deck, which offers a view of the South Carmen mountain range.

The Orenburg State Nature Reserve was established in 1989. Steppes occupy more than 90% of its total area. This area has a high biological diversity.

Since 2015, a project has been launched here to create a semi-free population of the Przewalski horse in Russia, and a center for the reintroduction of this animal has been opened.

The Orenburg Reserve, along with "Shaitan-Tau", is part of the Federal State Institution "Reserves of the Orenburg Region".
