The complex received an award in the category "Ski Resorts". The main goal of the competition for the best New Year's decoration is to prepare for the New Year celebration, create a festive atmosphere and mood of the townspeople, and improve the external aesthetic appearance of organizations. A prerequisite for participation was the presence of lighting design for the entrance areas and adjacent territories using modern technologies, materials and lighting equipment that meet fire safety standards. More than 300 organizations took part in the competition.

«The competition was announced at the initiative of the head of the city of Sochi, Alexei Kopaygorodsky. Last year there were half the number of participants, but today we can say with confidence that thanks to you, Sochi can be proud. Driving along Kurortny Prospect, approaching municipal institutions, entering the sanatoriums, we see that Sochi looks decent. With your New Year's decoration you bring joy not only to Sochi residents, but also to our guests,» Deputy Mayor of the city Galina Moskaleva greeted the winners of the competition.

In addition to the most "beautiful" New Year's ski resort, 55 winners and prize-winners among educational and sports institutions, cafes, restaurants, banks, parks, hotels, sanatoriums, trade enterprises, services, transport and other sectors of Sochi life were determined as part of the competition for the best New Year's decoration.
