The cable car "Cascade Vostok", capable of transporting 2,400 people per hour at a speed of 6 meters per second, has become the fastest lift in Russia. Additional comfort for tourists is provided by lift chairs equipped with heated seats, as well as special frames that guarantee protection in strong winds, ”the national travel portal Russia.travel reports.

The new ski lift has become one of the longest in the resort (2,300 m), it follows to the top of Mount Mustag to the beginning of two ski slopes with a vertical drop of 530 m.

As noted by Russia.travel, at present, good conditions for skiing have already been created on Sheregesh - a stable subzero temperature has been established, and the thickness of the snow cover reaches 40 cm.

Sheregesh is the largest ski resort in Siberia and one of the most popular in Russia. It is located in the Kemerovo region at the foot of Mount Zelenaya.

Unique snow conditions are created on Sheregesh - the season here lasts from early November to May, and the thickness of the snow cover reaches two or more meters.

"The snow in Sheregesh is soft and fluffy, it does not harden and almost does not collapse, reduces the danger of avalanches and makes skiing comfortable and enjoyable," the portal reports.

On November 27, a charter program started from Moscow to Sheregesh.
