Tourist trains will run on new routes in the next year and a half
The issues of rural tourism development were discussed by representatives of small settlements of Russia at the All-Russian forum "Rural Workers", said the senator from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Vladimir Pushkarev.
According to him, Yamal residents have become participants in discussion platforms on the return of young people to their small homeland and support for local tourism.
"In Yamal, the quality of life in rural areas has improved significantly in recent years. Roads, social institutions, playgrounds and sports grounds are being built, cultural and volunteer activities are developing. Favorable conditions are being created for young people to return to their native land," Pushkarev said.
