The Altai Republic ranks first among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in terms of the value of the environmental-economic index and in its development is based on the principle of balanced development of the biosphere and technosphere. “We have determined that the economic growth of the region will contribute to the preservation of unique nature and traditional culture. Thinking green means respecting the world we live in and thinking about the consequences of our actions, taking responsibility for them. Thinking environmentally and building your environmental sovereignty means thinking strategically, thinking about long-term consequences and systemic effects, dosing intervention, but not giving up efforts; not to protect, but to cultivate, not to prohibit, but to care.
“The theme of ecology runs like a red thread through many of the Roscongress Foundation’s events. Forum “Eco Altai. Thread of Nature“ dynamically started in 2022 and today, in the second year of its work, it has already become international. The capacious program, the choice of particularly significant areas of discussion, and the presentation of successful Eurasian practices in the field of ecology determine increased interest in this event,” said Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Roscongress Foundation.
