The Bulgarians opened a series of culinary festivals: in September, in the mountainous Bansko, everyone could experience the original local cuisine.
On the main square of the city they prepared the traditional soup Kurban chorba, the famous roast Katino meze, and also provided for tasting different versions of Bannitsa - puff pastry pies.
But in Serbian Leskovac they prefer meat products. At the traditional “Rostiliyada” festival here, in addition to the famous Pleskavica - huge pork and veal cutlets, the audience was pleased with lamb on a spit - Cookies, and even shish kebab.
During the barbecue festival in Leskowice, several tons of meat delicacies were eaten. Moreover, the largest group of barbecue lovers were guests from neighboring Bulgaria. Well, as they say: there is no arguing about tastes. Especially when they coincide.
