The press service of the State Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Pole", located in the Tula Region, has announced the opening of the archaeological season. In particular, the educational program "Tula settlements" was launched.
This project has been developed for students studying in the direction of "historical regional studies and archeology". Scientists of the Kulikovo Pole Museum-Reserve will introduce future historians to the archaeological monuments of the Tula Region in the new scientific and educational school.
During the work of the "School", students will visit the most significant settlements on the territory of the Tula Region - Torkhovo, Lobyn'skoye, Supruty, Ketri and the fortresses of the era of the functioning of the Tula notch line.
"In the format of lecture-excursions, museum scientists will tell students about the complex elements of the fortification of ancient fortresses, as well as about the new archaeological discoveries of the Tula archaeological expedition of the Kulikovo Pole Museum-Reserve," the message says.
