The consequences of the rampant disaster will be eliminated by 48 teams of specialists from Rosseti Kuban. As a result of strong gusts of wind, local power failures from the evening of November 30 were recorded among consumers in the foothill regions and rural areas in Sochi. The power engineers spent the whole night recovering in a reinforced composition.

"52 units of special equipment and 22 standby power supplies with a capacity of 4 MVA were used. Social facilities are powered by diesel generators. At 8:00 (Moscow time) 50% of wind-damaged power facilities have been restored. During the day, it is planned to complete the phased restoration of all the damaged main power supply schemes", the Sochi administration said.

The municipal operational headquarters continues to work in the city. Resource supplying services are on high alert.

Due to the strong wind, reaching 33 meters per second, three planes could not land at the Sochi airport. Later, two of them landed in the Olympic capital, one was sent to Krasnodar.
