The transportation will be carried out by the high-speed catamaran "Griffin" and the motor ship "Kometa". Each of them is designed for 120 seats.
- Usually ships are launched during the season - from spring to October, in winter it is impossible, because there is a storm in the sea, - said Mikhail Antoshin, director of the Vodokhod Express company, which carries out transportation.
The catamaran "Griffin" was the first to enter the line. The flight, scheduled for May 2, had to be postponed due to a storm. The launch of the Comet is scheduled for May 15.
- The price level and schedule of high-speed sea transport, running between the resorts of the Kuban, will remain at the same level with minor adjustments, said the director of the seaport of Sochi, Yuri Vladimirov.
The cost of a ticket for the catamaran "Griffin" on the route "Sochi - Gelendzhik" is 3,000 rubles for adults, 2,000 rubles for children from 2 to 14 years old, travel for children under 2 years old is free.
