On March 27 and 28, the XIV Open Championship among instructors and instructor teams of Russia was held in the Sochi mountain cluster, where they demonstrated their skills and fought for the title of the best.
Specialists of the Rosa Khutor Ski School also took part in the competition. According to the results of the individual championship, the instructors of the resort became winners and prize-winners in the Giant Slalom discipline among men and women in different age groups. The first places in alpine skiing were taken by Astapenko Artem, Ilyin Roman, Vasilisa Nechaeva and the third - Anna Zhivlekhina. Evgenia Kalmykova, Daria Groznova, Daniil Kovalev became champions in snowboarding competitions.
In the overall team standings, Rosa Khutor representatives took second and third places among the best instructor teams in the country.
Today, 160 instructors teach skiing and snowboarding at the resort, among them there are masters of sports and winners of Russian competitions. All specialists have certificates from the National League of Instructors and extensive work experience - they spend about 50,000 hours of training per season.
